There are lots of different types of fostering, from short stays for as little as one day to long term care for a child until they are an adult, there will be something for you. Our aim is for local children to be able to stay in this area, near their friends, their schools, and the things that are familiar to them. To do this we need foster carers. We need people like you. We have carers who are single couples, in a same sex relationship, not home owners, are older and younger, unemployed or in part time and full time work, some don’t have biological children and some have a health problem. There are lots of opportunities for a wide variety of people to foster.
