We have over 450 dedicated staff and 200 volunteers helping us to deliver services and activities for older people in Lincoln and across the county. Supporting over 4,000 people aged 50 and over every week, our dedicated staff and volunteers deliver support services and activities across 17 departments for people countywide

Our trained advisors offer free information and advice to older people and their families.
In 2020/2021 our advisers helped local older people to claim over £1.14m in previously unclaimed benefits. Allowing people to live more comfortably at home.
We offer home help. Your Home, your support, your way:
We offer home support services to help with shopping, cleaning, laundry and gardening. We help over 100 older people to get their food shopping every month and also provide Deep Clean and House Clearance services. We operate an invaluable Response service supporting our customers when they have a fall as well as delivering an acclaimed HART service designed at helping reduce the number of older people having to go into hospital. The HART service helps provide short term support to prevent people having to go into hospital for short term support or to help people leave hospital in a more timely manner.
We work to end loneliness:
Our volunteer befrienders visit lonely older people in the community who have no one to talk to.
Our befriending service happens via home visits and telephone befriending and in the month of December 2020, our 60 befrienders made over 360 calls to older people in just one month which was amazing in helping lonely older people in our community beat the loneliness they faced during the lockdown.
We provide activities, events, lunch clubs and friendships clubs:
Our day centre is a hub of activity offering a wide range of activity groups and events, such as lunch clubs and exercise classes, giving older people the opportunity to keep fit, socialise, or learn a new skill.
The opportunity to enjoy a home cooked meal and socialise in our Park Street Restaurant is enjoyed by many who attend clubs and activities.
We provide amazing services in partnerships and with funding to make a difference to the lives of older people in our community
Our Patient Support Services operate out of wards in the Community hospitals at Louth, Gainsborough, Spalding and Skegness providing much needed support to the clinical staff and the patients on the wards. Our Community Connectors provide the information and support to patients leaving hospital ensuring that they have things in place to make their discharge a success.
We provide non-clinical staff to the Vaccination hubs at PRSA, Boston and the Lincolnshire Showground, helping to make the sites run smoothly and supporting patients and clinical staff on site. We are also working with care homes and Voluntary Centre Services to coordinate volunteers at care homes to facilitate relatives visiting with help with covid testing and donning and doffing of PPE, helping care homes in the area to welcome back relatives to enrich the lives of their residents after a tough few months.
